Fitted Mirrors and Mirror Walls: Ideas and Advice

26 March 2026 · 4 min read

A well-placed mirror doubles the light and the sense of space. Here's what bespoke mirrors can do.

Where fitted mirrors work best

Made-to-measure mirrors make rooms feel larger and brighter by bouncing light around. Popular uses include alcove and chimney-breast mirrors, full mirror walls in hallways and living rooms, gym and studio mirrors, and over-mantel and bathroom mirrors cut to fit exactly.

Because they are cut to size, fitted mirrors look built-in rather than hung.

Edges, finishes and options

Mirror edges can be polished, bevelled or framed for different looks, and mirrors can be supplied with safety backing so they hold together if broken — important for larger panels and bathrooms. Low-condensation mirror options are available for steamy rooms.

We measure precisely and advise on the best specification for the location.

Safe, level fitting

Large mirrors are heavy and need secure, level fixing into a suitable wall. We handle the survey, supply and installation so the finished result is straight, safe and seamless.

If you have a space in mind, we are happy to advise and quote with no obligation.
